Hello! I'm Lieve, 16 years old and live in the Netherlands.
My blog mainly consists out of pictures of cute animals, some ranting about society and a few of my photographs that I deem pretty enough to belong on my blog. Oh, and food. Lots of pictures of food, too.
My ask is always open for questions, advice, comments or whatever you feel like doing in an ask!
I am going off Tumblr, for Lent. I’ll be back after Easter.
Have a great start of spring!
Lots of love,
I have this Carlisle-Bella thing going on and I am barely supressing the urge to read some smutty one shot about them.
Anonymous said: hey there Hi! :'D okay I just wanted to step by because you're cute and I like your blog and I hope that you get to eat a lot of pancakes
Awh, you really cheered up my day!
In any case, thank you so much for the message and have a great day!
The Twilight saga could have been so great. It’s sad that it isn’t.
See, I’m not really a Twilight hater. I read half of the first book, and I’m by no means saying that it’s a ‘bad’ book. It has it’s weaknesses, but overal the plot and writing wasn’t all that bad.
Take the characters for instance. They’re flat. I mean, they have some relatively deep stuff underneath but that’s almost all based on romantic love. “Oh, Bella, I can’t live without you, I already figured out a way to die if you were gone.” I mean, the romeo Juliet suicide thing isn’t really something that I necessarily hate in books or movies. But if Edward had said something along the lines of, “A couple of decades after I was turnt, I didn’t want to keep going on anymore. I considered showing myself, so the Volturi would kill me. If you die, I don’t think I’d be only considering it anymore.” it could’ve already given such a layer of depth, instead of it all being based on his love for Bella.
Same goes for Bella. She only seems to bloom after Edward confessed that he wants her. I mean, there are some parts where she’s deliciously stubborn and almost sassy. Where she tells people off and stands up for herself. But the whole “I’m going to put myself in danger because I want to see Edward” kind of ruined that for me again. It was so great that after Edward left, a few months later, she picked herself up again and went to hang out with Jacob more. But I hate that some of the reason of it was that she just wanted the bike fixed up to do dangerous stuff. I know that after, she really cares about Jacob and all, but it’s still a pity that she could’ve been written so much more stronger.
Everyone could’ve had so much to say, besides “Oh, Edward, don’t leave me.” and “Bella, I love you.
